Portland State's 创新 and Intellectual Property unit is responsible for protecting and managing patentable and copyrighted works developed in the course of 事业单位 research activities. We work with faculty members, students and staff to promote the use and increase the impact of 事业单位 innovations.

University Venture Development Fund
的 University Venture Development Fund provides Oregon universities the opportunity to accept gifts from individuals and organizations that wish to support research and commercialization activities at the universities. Donors receive a significant State of Oregon tax credit. 的 university technology transfer offices use the funds to facilitate the commercialization of university research and development.
